Bill O’Reilly: NFL National Anthem Protesters Disrespecting Our Men And Women In Uniform (VIDEO)

Bill O’Reilly appeared on the Sean Hannity show last night and addressed the NFL controversy. Bill made a great point as usual. He said that the players are disrespecting members of our military, many of whom are football fans.

O’Reilly Rips NFL: While They Knelt in London, Did They Think of Soldiers 3K Miles Away?

O’Reilly criticized NFL players who took part in such protests this weekend.

He mentioned the Jaguars and Ravens squads, who were playing in London and stood for the British anthem after kneeling for their own.

“I was angry and sad, because I don’t believe those players know what they’re doing,” he said.

“About 3,000 miles east of you, there are American military people in Kandahar, Afghanistan, whose entertainment revolves around the Armed Forces Network, that broadcasts football games.”

“Can you imagine putting your life on the line…and seeing your players disrespect your country and the flag on foreign soil?” O’Reilly asked.

He said there is a double-standard, which the league implicitly nods to.

O’Reilly said that the Giants and Jets have in the past asked to commemorate 9/11 from across the river in East Rutherford, N.J., but have routinely been denied.
