In response to the disgusting Russian report that media is now calling, “uncorroborated,” Trump’s team is hitting back.
In addition to Trump blasting CNN’s reporter at the press conference, spokesman Sean Spicer took the report head-on.
Spicer laid out the reasons why the report was false. He said it was “shameful and disgraceful.”

From the video:
Sean Spicer: “For all the talk lately about ‘fake news,’ this political witch hunt by some in the media is based on some of the most flimsy reporting, and is frankly shameful and disgraceful.”
Now, journalists are responding.
The New York Times executive editor said, “We, like others, investigated the allegations and haven’t corroborated them, and we felt we’re not in the business of publishing things we can’t stand by.”
CNN’s Jake Tapper tried to walk back CNN’s role and even said, “I can understand why President-elect Trump would be upset about that. I would be upset about it, too.”
CNN/Buzzfeed are feeling the heat.
Team Trump is playing hardball!
