It’s like a dream coming to light. On the campaign trail, Donald Trump promised to protect America’s Christian values. Another promise kept.
Here’s a video from September of 2016:
TRUMP: Your values of love, charity and faith built this nation. So how can it be that our media treats people of faith so poorly? One of the reasons is that our politicians have really abandoned you to a large extent. … So let me state this right up front. A Trump administration, our Christian heritage will be cherished, protected, defended like you’ve never seen before.
FOX News reported at the time:
Donald Trump sympathized with Christians gathered at the Values Voter Summit here in Washington, arguing they’ve been abandoned by politicians and demeaned in the media:
(Trump) “So let me state this right up front: a Trump Administration, our Christian heritage will be cherished, protected, defended.”
Trump is pushing for the end of a 1950’s era law prohibiting religious non-profits from endorsing candidates and warning against Supreme Court justices nominated by Democrat Hillary Clinton.

Looks like this is just another promise kept, and only 3 weeks into the administration. Awesome!
