UNBELIEVABLE: Mom Sues After Son Was “Forced” To Recite Pledge Of Allegiance In School

At some point you would think someone would do something about abuses of the legal system. This crazy mom is using her first grade son to push back at a basic aspects of being an American. When will enough be enough?

FOX News has the details:

An Indiana mom filed a lawsuit on Friday against an elementary school teacher and principal for allegedly forcing her son to recite the Pledge of Allegiance.

Jamie Porter said her son’s first grade teacher removed the boy from class when he refused to stand for the Pledge of Allegiance back in March, according to Fox 59. The lawsuit, filed by the ACLU on behalf of the family, alleged that the boy refused to recite it because he was “protesting” the government.

“He was doing it to protest the government of the United States, as it was racist, greedy and does not care about people,” the lawsuit stated.

Fox59.com added this.

According to documents, McFarland asked him why he didn’t stand up and the boy stated “he was doing it to protest the government of the United States, as it was racist, greedy and does not care about people.”

The school’s principal, Mary Beth Harris, later reportedly took the boy out of class to another area of the school and practiced reciting the pledge with the student.

According to the lawsuit, the student was extremely upset at this treatment and is struggling with losing his father within the last year.

Maybe someone should file a suit against these parent for using their child as a political pawn. Seems like child abuse.
