A group of Missouri middle school students had more class than their teacher while visiting Washington, DC. The teacher actually embarrassed the students by flipping off the White House.
The New York Post reports:
Even students are ashamed of this teacher for flipping off the White House
A Missouri teacher is under fire for flipping off the White House during a trip to DC with a group of middle-school students — and then plastering the image on social media, according to reports.
Science teacher Lynn Miller of Warrensburg Middle School accompanied nine students to Washington last week, FOX 4 reported.
At one point during the trip, Miller snapped the image of himself making the lewd gesture with the White House in the background.
“It was very rude and disrespectful,” said 14-year-old Corrine Hammond, who attended the trip, to FOX 4.
Corrine told the station that Miller informed students at the Kansas City airport that he planned to “give the finger” to the White House. Though none of the students saw him making the gesture, he encouraged them to check out his Facebook page, where he later posted the snap.
The image has apparently been removed from Miller’s page, but John Hammond, Corrine’s dad, posted it on his page — accompanied by a message that tore into the teacher for his actions.
