Alan Dershowitz Slams Democrats For Failing To Recognize Anti-Semitism Of Rep. Ilhan Omar (VIDEO)

Alan Dershowitz appeared on the Sean Hannity show this week and slammed Democrats for not naming Ilhan Omar in their watered down anti-hate resolution.

The Blaze has details:

Alan Dershowitz blasts ‘anti-American’ Rep. Ilhan Omar for her anti-Israel, anti-Semitic remarks

Alan Dershowitz, Harvard Law professor emeritus, tore Democratic Rep. Ilhan Omar (Minn.) to shreds over remarks she has made about Israel.

Dershowitz, who is frequent contributor to media outlets like Fox News, MSNBC, CNN, and more, made the remarks during a Monday appearance on Fox News…

“She is very anti-American,” he said. “Put aside the anti-Israel. She is also anti-American. She accuses American members of Congress, men and women, Jewish, Christian, she accuses them of doing it for the money.”

Omar issued an apology over the controversial remarks, which both parties condemned, but she continued her attacks over the weekend.

“For her to accuse Jewish members of Congress and non-Jewish members of Congress of dual loyalty because they support America’s allies … would you accuse somebody of dual loyalty if they supported England, if they supported France and other American allies?” Dershowitz asked.

Dershowitz is right about all of this. Particularly when he says Omar should be primaried.

The Washington Examiner reports:

Dershowitz: Ilhan Omar should be ‘beaten in a primary by people who support the United States’

Harvard Law professor emeritus Alan Dershowitz on Monday called on Democrats to make sure controversial Rep. Ilhan Omar, D-Minn., is defeated in the next primary because she continues to antagonize Jewish lawmakers and Jewish Americans.

“The Democrats must marginalize her and distance her from the center of the party,” Dershowitz, who is Jewish, said on Fox News. “And I hope she’ll be primaried, and she should be beaten in a primary by people who support the United States and people who support American allies, rather than people who support American enemies.”

Omar has been accused of anti-Semitism after charging that the Jewish lobby has too much power over Congress. After House Democratic leaders demanded an apology, Omar apologized, but over the weekend continued to battle Jewish Democratic lawmakers.

“For her to accuse Jewish members of Congress and non-Jewish members of Congress of dual loyalty because they support America’s allies … would you accuse somebody of dual loyalty if they supported England, if they supported France and other American allies?” Dershowitz asked.

That is so spot on. Omar doesn’t deserve the role she currently holds. She has been in office for less than three months and she has already proved that.
