Remember back in November when Alec Baldwin allegedly punched a guy over a parking space? He was arrested at the time. Now he has just pleaded guilty in court.
The Hill reported:
Alec Baldwin pleads guilty after altercation over parking space: report
Alec Baldwin is reportedly pleading guilty to second-degree harassment following a physical dispute over a New York parking spot.
The actor — who has a recurring role playing President Trump on “Saturday Night Live” — was arrested in November and had been charged with misdemeanor assault.
At the time, a New York Police Department spokeswoman told ITK that an argument over a Greenwich Village parking spot led to a 49-year-old man being punched.
On Wednesday, Baldwin admitted to pushing the man, claiming he stole the parking spot, according to court documents cited by New York’s WABC-TV.
But the 60-year-old Emmy winner’s lawyers said video evidence supported Baldwin’s claim that he never punched the man. As part of his plea, Baldwin reportedly agreed to attend short-term anger management classes.
When this happened pretty much everyone in Hollywood and the media looked the other way. Baldwin makes fun of Trump on Saturday Night Live and they all like that so Baldwin gets a pass for bad behavior.
