They recently rode through Lexington, Virginia, home of the Red Hen restaurant that denied service to Sarah Huckabee Sanders. WJLA News reports:
‘Bikers for Trump’ ride through Lexington
The group, “Bikers for Trump” rode through Lexington Saturday to show their support of Press Secretary Sarah Sanders and the Virginia GOP.
Their ride comes a week after Sanders was asked to leave The Red Hen restaurant in Lexington. That incident sparked a week of protests against the restaurant by Trump supporters. It also caused the restaurant’s owner. Stephanie Wilkinson, to step down from her position as Executive Director of Main Street Lexington.
According to a Facebook event, Bikers for Trump planned to head to Lexington to, “show support for the town, law enforcement and the Virginia GOP!”
The group headed to the Red Hen, signs in hand to rally for Trump and the Republican party.
They also said they had plans to support Lexington by dining in their restaurants and staying in their hotels.
