Border Patrol Agent Destroys CNN’s Narrative About ‘Peaceful Protesters’ At The Border (VIDEO)

This weekend, a large group of migrants in Tijuana rushed the American border. Agents used tear gas to disperse the crowd. CNN interviewed a chief border agent named Rodney Scott. They tried to paint a picture of helpless, peaceful migrants but Scott told a very different story.

Real Clear Politics reports:

“I kind of challenge that it was a peaceful protest, or that the majority of these people were claiming asylum,” Rodney Scott told CNN.

“What I saw on the border yesterday was not people walking up to border patrol agents and asking to claim asylum,” Scott said. “If they were truly asylum-seekers they would’ve just walked up with their hands up and surrendered, but that did not take place.”

“What we saw over and over yesterday was the group, the caravan, would push women and children towards the front and then, basically, ‘rocking’ our agents … We tried to target the instigators, specifically those assaulting the agents, but once that chemical is released, it does go through the air,” he said about the use of tear gas.

CNN is so obviously trying to set the narrative on this story. They have been for weeks now.
