The corporate fracas could result in Spectrum subscribers losing access to 23 Viacom channels, including Comedy Central, Nickelodeon, MTV, BET, Spike and TV Land.

Viacom has a blurb crawling across the bottom of the screen on its channels, warning viewers that they might lose programming this week. The company also has launched a website,, that urges cable subscribers to call a toll-free number to urge Spectrum to come to an agreement with Viacom, and includes a slew of videos featuring such Viacom shows as “South Park,” “SpongeBob SquarePants,” “The Daily Show” and “Lip Sync Battle.”

They’ve had a monopoly for so long they can’t even imagine losing it.
