The Journal Sentinel reported:
Spectrum viewers could lose Comedy Central, MTV, more in feud over fees
Cable-channel operator Viacom and Charter Communications, which operates the Spectrum cable service in Wisconsin, are embroiled in the industry’s latest battle over retransmission fees and channel allotments.

The corporate fracas could result in Spectrum subscribers losing access to 23 Viacom channels, including Comedy Central, Nickelodeon, MTV, BET, Spike and TV Land.
Viacom has a blurb crawling across the bottom of the screen on its channels, warning viewers that they might lose programming this week. The company also has launched a website, keepviacom.com, that urges cable subscribers to call a toll-free number to urge Spectrum to come to an agreement with Viacom, and includes a slew of videos featuring such Viacom shows as “South Park,” “SpongeBob SquarePants,” “The Daily Show” and “Lip Sync Battle.”
They’ve had a monopoly for so long they can’t even imagine losing it.
