Democrats are eating their own again. The far left base is demanding that leadership do more to stop Trump’s agenda. The only problem is that there isn’t really any leadership. So protests are happening at the forums to choose a leader for the DNC.
The Hill reports:
Perez interrupted by progressive protesters
Democratic National Committee (DNC) chairman candidate Tom Perez was interrupted by protesters at an event Wednesday night, who called on him to challenge Democrats who aren’t putting up a fight against President Trump.
Activists interrupted the former Labor secretary in the middle of a Women’s National Democratic Club event, carrying a large banner with “Dems: #Resist Trump or be replaced” written on it.
Activist Natalie Green spoke directly to Perez, asking if he would “commit to supporting primary challengers to fight against Democrats who refuse to resist Donald Trump’s agenda,” as reported by The Washington Post.
Perez responded to Green, saying the Democratic Party needs to “lock arms” and “come together.”
“Part of the reason I love the Democratic Party, folks, is that it’s a big tent,” he said. “When we have spirited debates, you know what it reminds me of? Thanksgiving with my family.”

These are dark days for Democrats.
They have no power and no leadership.
