CNN Tries To Get Trump Banned From Twitter, Twitter Says No

CNN is so upset with Trump’s wrestling tweet that they reached out to Twitter in an effort to get Trump banned.

They asked Twitter if Trump should be banned from Twitter for this:

CNN’s media reporter Brian Stelter implied a joke gif about fake wrestling was a threat.

He had this reaction:

And CNN even did a video segment on the supposed violation of Twitter’s terms:

There’s just one problem: Twitter says Trump’s tweets don’t violate Twitter’s terms of service.

CNN itself reports:

“Twitter told CNN on Sunday that the company reviewed the tweet, which features a WWE video that has been edited to show Trump beating up a man with a CNN logo on his face.

Twitter said it considered three factors: the political context of the conversation surrounding the tweet, the various ways it could be interpreted and the lack of details in the tweet itself.

According to its rules, Twitter may suspend an account for a number of reasons, including if the user makes violent threats; attacks people based on race, religion, gender and more; or engages “in the targeted abuse or harassment of others.”

Trump’s tweet has spread like wildfire across the internet. In six hours it received 185,000 retweets, about 300,000 likes and nearly 100,000 comments.

That’s a lot, even for Trump, who has 33 million followers.”

Trump’s tweet of him wrestling CNN is his second-highest re-tweeted tweet of all time.

CNN still doesn’t understand what’s going on.

CNN still doesn’t understand that the majority of Americans are on Trump’s side in the battle against the Liberal Media.

CNN still doesn’t understand that they are losing.

When will CNN wake up?
