During a recent segment on CNN, Chris Cuomo said that Democrats have gone too far to the left for candidates like former Vice President Joe Biden or even his own brother, New York Governor Andrew Cuomo. It’s amazing to hear this guy say something accurate for a change.
The Washington Free Beacon reported:
CNN’s Cuomo: ‘I Don’t Know That There’s Room for a Cuomo or a Biden’ in the Democratic Party
CNN host Chris Cuomo said Wednesday that he is not sure there is room in the Democratic Party for more centrist politicians like his brother, New York Gov. Andrew Cuomo, or former Vice President Joe Biden as the party moves further to the left.
Cuomo made the comment on “New Day” after playing a clip of his interview with Biden from the prior night.
The former vice president was reflecting on life after the death of his son, Beau, in 2015.
“Unless you figure out something that’s more important to you than yourself, I think it’s hard to be really happy,” Biden said…
“You were joking, saying, ‘Hey, you mentioned your father, not your brother.’ Fair point,” Cuomo said to Bash. “I think both of them are in the same box. I do believe that their party is not moving toward the center; it is moving toward the left. And I don’t know that there’s room for a Cuomo or a Biden in terms of where that party is going right now. Joe disagrees.”

The Democrats who run in 2020 will be far left and will compete to appear the furthest to the left. That’s what the party’s base wants.
