CNN’s Jim Sciutto Ordered To Take Personal Leave From Network Amid ‘Internal Investigation’

A very murky situation is unfolding at CNN as journalist Jim Sciutto has been placed on personal leave amid an internal investigation.

Sciutto was returning from Ukraine when he stopped in Amsterdam and apparently had a serious fall.

Other than that, the details are pretty shady.

The Washington Examiner reports:

CNN Newsroom anchor Jim Sciutto has been placed on “personal leave” after the network told him to tend to a “personal situation.”

Sciutto last appeared on the Newsroom Monday. The anchor’s leave is reportedly related to a “serious fall” he took in Amsterdam earlier this year.

While traveling home from reporting on the war in Ukraine earlier this year, Sciutto and his producer stopped in the Dutch capital, where the fall occurred, according to the Daily Beast’s Confider. Sciutto was said to have recovered from the incident, but CNN launched an internal investigation.

Sciutto regularly appeared as the co-anchor of CNN’s Newsroom alongside Poppy Harlow. He also worked as the network’s chief national security reporter while writing online articles. Sciutto’s last article was published on Oct. 3.

Neither Sciutto nor CNN has publicly commented on the situation.

Jim Sciutto was a big pusher of the Russia collusion hoax.

Again, the details here are a little odd.

Will Sciutto be the next person ejected from the network?

It’s starting to look that way.
