Condoleezza Rice recently appeared on The View and had some frank words for Democrat Adam Schiff. She basically told him that the country is ready to move on and get down to work on more important matters. She speaks for millions of Americans on this issue.
The FOX News Insider reports:
Condi Rice to Schiff: Time to ‘Wrap Up’ Russia Probe, We Must ‘Get Back to Business’
Former Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice delivered a blunt message to Rep. Adam Schiff (D-Calif.) when both appeared on “The View” Thursday.
Rice expressed the hope that the House Intelligence Committee will soon conclude its investigation into Russia’s meddling in the 2016 election.
“I appreciate what you’re doing for the country, but I really hope you can wrap it up. The country needs to get back to business, so that’s my greatest hope is that this gets done,” she told Schiff.
The audience at the live ABC show mostly applauded her comment. Rice, who also served as national security adviser under President George W. Bush, went on to express her “enormous respect” for Special Counsel Robert Mueller and said he will conduct a “fair” investigation.
Schiff, the ranking Democrat on the committee, has been outspoken in his suspicion that the Trump campaign coordinated with Russia on the meddling.
