Covington Student Nick Sandmann Reaches Settlement With NBC

Nick Sandman, the high school student who was unfairly smeared by the media for the crime of wearing a MAGA hat, is on his way to becoming a very wealthy young man.

He sued the media and some outlets have already settled with him.

NBC is the latest and although the amount hasn’t been disclosed, it’s probably huge.

The Hill reports:

Covington Catholic graduate Nick Sandmann reached a settlement with NBC over their coverage of an interaction he had with Omaha Tribe elder Nathan Phillips while attending the March for Life in 2019.

“At this time I would like to release that NBC and I have reached a settlement. The terms are confidential,” Sandmann tweeted on Friday.

Court documents filed Friday indicate that NBC and Sandmann both agreed to dismiss the case without judgement from the U.S. District Court in the Eastern District of Kentucky, The Cincinnati Enquirer reported.

Sandmann became widely known after a video of his interaction with Phillips at the Lincoln Memorial in 2019 went viral, and was reported on by the media.

Sandmann sued multiple outlets for their portrayals of the incident.

In the lawsuit against NBC, Sandmann claimed the network “unleashed its vast corporate wealth, influence, and power against Nicholas to falsely attack him despite the fact that at the time, he was a 16-year-old high school student,” the Enquirer reported.

This is what conservatives need to do when they’re slandered by the media.

The media has to learn that this behavior is not OK.

The only way that’s going to happen, is if conservatives hit them where it hurts. Right in the wallet.
