Rep. Adam Schiff just can’t let go of the Russia collusion conspiracy. Now that the Mueller Investigation is over, Schiff refuses to accept the truth. He said as much during a recent appearance on MSNBC.
Here’s a transcript via Real Clear Politics:
WILLIE GEIST, MSNBC: Do you accept the fundamental conclusion in that four-page letter, that there was no collusion between the Trump campaign and Russians?
REP. ADAM SCHIFF (D-CA): I accept [Robert] Mueller’s conclusion, and I assume Barr wouldn’t misrepresent this, that he could not prove beyond a reasonable doubt the crime of conspiracy. As I said all along, there is plenty of evidence of collusion and corrupt co-mingling of work between the Trump campaign and the Russians. I fully accept that as a prosecutor, that he couldn’t prove beyond a reasonable doubt that crime.
As you know, because I’ve made this distinction on your show, I always said there was ample evidence of collusion in the public record. Whether Bob Mueller could prove the crime of conspiracy beyond a reasonable doubt would be up to him and I’d accept his conclusion, and I do.
GEIST: You said on this show and others that there is direct evidence of collusion. Were you wrong about that, now that you’ve seen the summary of the special counsel’s report?
SCHIFF: No. Because I think what you see in the public record is direct evidence.

Brit Hume of FOX News called Schiff out for this:
Dishonest. The Mueller report, as quoted by Barr, says, “The investigation did not establish that members of the Trump campaign conspired or coordinated with the Russian government in its election interference activities.” Nothing there about any “crime” or “reasonable doubt.” https://t.co/tg8QduvfZ9

Schiff is also angry about being given a nickname by Trump.
The Washington Examiner reports:
Adam Schiff says Trump is ‘violating the cardinal rule of childish nicknames’
House Intelligence Committee Chairman Adam Schiff, D-Calif., teased President Trump for breaking the “cardinal rule” of childish insults by changing up nicknames he uses against adversaries, including Schiff himself.
“This is nothing new. We’ve seen these kind of childish nicknames for a year and a half,” Schiff told CNN. “He is violating the cardinal rule of childish nicknames, which is you’ve got to pick one and stick with it.”
Trump has called Schiff a series of names, including “little shifty Schiff” and “little Adam Schitt.” He has also employed the term “little pencil neck Adam Schiff,” a nickname his 2020 campaign has slapped on T-shirts for supporters to purchase.
The poor dear.
