Democrat Rep. Attica Scott was arrested in Louisville this week on rioting charges.
This is not the first time a Democrat has been arrested for being part of a mob. Why do Democrat lawmakers think this is an acceptable form of behavior from an elected official?
They are elected to try to effect change through legislation, not being part of a rabble.
WDRB News reports:
Kentucky state Rep. Attica Scott says arrest on rioting charge ‘ridiculous;’ gets support from library system
Kentucky state Rep. Attica Scott called her Thursday night arrest on charges of rioting “ridiculous.”
Scott, a Louisville Democrat, was detained while marching with protesters Thursday night to call for justice for Breonna Taylor, a Black woman who died at the hands of white police officers serving a search warrant on her apartment on March 13.
Louisville Metro Police Department has accused Scott of being “part of a large group” that was ordered to disperse “and failed to do so,” according to her arrest report, which lists charges of unlawful assembly, failure to disperse and first-degree rioting, a Class D felony…
“Subjects caused extensive damage at multiple locations including setting fire to the Louisville Public Library,” the report states.
Rep. Scott is right about one thing. It’s ridiculous, but not in the way that she thinks.
Here’s a local video report:
Oh, and she was there with her daughter. Way to set a good example.

Here’s a newsflash for Democrats.
You can either be an activist at protests, or an elected official.
You’re not supposed to be both.
