Obama gave his final press conference as president today. It was a long one and at one point a reporter in attendance fell ill.
The Hill has the details:
Journalist faints, halting Obama press conference
A journalist fainted at President Obama’s year-end press conference on Friday, bringing the question-and-answer session to a halt.
An woman abruptly lost consciousness about 40 minutes into the news conference inside the hot, crowded James Brady Press Briefing Room at the White House.
Other reporters including liberal radio host and The Hill columnist Bill Press rushed to help her, lifting her into a chair and giving her water.
