Don Lemon Says ‘We Have To Blow Up The Entire System’ – Claims He Was Joking After Backlash (VIDEO)

Like many people on the left, CNN’s Don Lemon is having a total meltdown over the fact that President Trump is going to pick Ruth Bader Ginsburg’s replacement on the Supreme Court.

During his show on Monday night, he went off the deep end and started talking about blowing up the system.

Even Chris Cuomo wasn’t buying it.

“We’re going to have to blow up the entire system,” Lemon told Chris Cuomo during a handoff between the two hosts, when they usually opine for several minutes on top news items of the day.

“I don’t know about that,” Cuomo replied. “You’re just going to have to vote.”

“You’re going to have to get rid of the Electoral College,” Lemon continued. “Because the minority in this country get to decide who our judges are and who our president is. Is that fair?”

“You need a constitutional amendment to do that,” Cuomo replied.

“And if Joe Biden wins, Democrats can stack the courts and they can do that amendment and get it passed,” Lemon retorted, referring to the party’s presidential nominee.

Lemon’s comments were reported far and wide in a very negative light, so when he returned to the air on Tuesday night, he tried to play the whole thing off as a joke and blamed viewers for taking him seriously. Watch:

Lemon is such a train wreck. It’s amazing anyone even watches his show.
