Actor Jeff Daniels is living up to his Dumb and Dumber past.
During a recent appearance on MSNBC, Daniels pushed the idea that Trump is controlled by Russia and even on their payroll.
The 2016 election broke so many people. Daniels was one of them.

Jeff Daniels dishes on Trump’s links with Russia, Internet says he was perfectly cast in ‘Dumb and Dumber’
Actor Jeff Daniels, who stars in the newly released two-episode series ‘The Comey Rule’ has ignited the debate on President Donald Trump’s presidency and links with Russia that the series explores. In an interview with MSNBC’s Nicolle Wallace on September 28, the actor was asked about Trump’s (disproven) Russian links.
To this, he replied that “It’s so obvious — where did he get all the money? All roads, as Speaker Pelosi said, all roads lead to Putin.”
The actor also hinted at Russian president Vladimir Putin meddling in the US Presidential elections in 2016 with Putin “extending and reaching out to the cyber-space thing with America.”
Daniels further said though “Putin did not admit anything but he did get on the lifeboat in the Titanic.” A user tweeted a part of the interviewer clip.

What are these people going to do if Trump wins reelection?
Literally no roads led to Putin. As we found out over the past 4 years.
If Jeff Daniels were 1% as smart as his Newsroom character, he wouldn’t have fallen for #TheRussiaLie https://t.co/0qoRlkUnsx https://t.co/d5fRLlq3eO
