February was a big month for news and it looks like a majority of Americans got their information from FOX News. CNN and MSNBC came in second and third but it wasn’t very close.
FOX News reports:
Fox News dominates MSNBC, CNN across the board during February
Fox News Channel dominated February ratings, finishing the month as the most-watched network with “Hannity” as top-rated cable news program, according to Nielsen Media Research.
FNC picked up the total-day crown for the 32nd straight month, averaging 1.5 million viewers compared to 1.1 million for second-place MSNBC. Nickelodeon, HGTV and ID Discovery rounded out the top five; CNN averaged 707,000 viewers to place sixth.
Fox News also topped cable news in the key demographic of adults ages 24-54, averaging 261,000 viewers compared to 197,000 for CNN and 184,000 for MSNBC.
“Hannity” led the charge during prime-time hours, 8-11 p.m. ET, while Fox News averaged 2.6 million viewers to finish ahead of all basic-cable competitors. MSNBC, HGTV, TNT and ESPN joined FNC among the top five networks, while CNN finished tenth.
Sean Hannity’s program averaged 3.2 million viewers, followed by Tucker Carlson’s 3.1 million and MSNBC’s “Rachel Maddow Show,” which finished slightly behind “Tucker Carlson Tonight.” FNC’s “The Five” and “The Ingraham Angle” join Hannity, Carlson and Maddow among the top five, while “Special Report with Bret Baier” finished sixth.

CNN got walloped in the monthly ratings again by Fox News–and even MSNBC.
In fact, in all of cable news, the far-left cable channel’s highest-rated show, Cuomo Prime Time, came in 23rd for the month of February.
Let me repeat that: among only three cable news networks, CNN’s highest rated show came in … 23rd.
Here are February’s averages in total viewers and viewers in the 25-54 age demo:
Prime Time:
Fox News: 2.6 million / 463,000
MSNBC: 1.96 million / 342,000
CNN: 1.07 million / 316,000
Total Day:
Fox News: 1.458 million / 261,000
MSNBC: 1.1 million / 184,000
CNN: 707,000 / 197,000
The only silver lining for CNN is that the anti-Trump channel did improve its total day viewers by ten percent when compared to this same month last year, but CNN’s ratings are so low, a double-digit boost doesn’t mean all that much.
More and more people are tuning out MSNBC and CNN for their obvious bias. They are just anti-Trump 24/7. Who needs to watch that if you already know what they’re going to say every single day.
