Republican consultant Frank Luntz recently pointed out Trump’s advantage in 2020 during an appearance on CNBC.
Luntz noted that the economy is not only strong, it’s record-breaking strong.

Luntz: ‘This Is Strongest Economy in All of Our Lives That We’re Having Right Now’
Commenting on the U.S. economy under the Trump administration, pollster and political strategist Frank Luntz noted that many critics back in 2016 said the goals Trump set were impossible, but today, he added, “is the strongest economy in all of our lives that we’re having right now.”
Speaking on CNBC’s Squawk Box on Friday, Luntz said, “We have a lower unemployment rate among African Americans than at any time they started measuring this.”
“We have a 50-year-unemployment low among Latino Americans,” he added. “It’s been a quarter-century before we’ve had this low unemployment among 18-to-29-year olds.”
“We have wages going up,” said Luntz, and “this economy is working for people.”
“And I’ll remind you,” he said, “you go back to 2016 when Donald Trump suggested we could have a 3-point growth rate and actually get to that point, everybody said this is impossible.”

Luntz continued, “That he could bring unemployment below 4%, they said this is impossible. This is the strongest economy in all of our lives that we’re having right now.”
