OUTRAGEOUS! Army Veteran Told He Can’t Fly American Flag At Atlanta Braves Tailgate Party

Since when is the flag of these United States “offensive” on our own soil?  One U. S. Army veteran was flying an American flag along with an Atlanta Braves flag during a tailgate party . . . and was told to take down the American flag.

Sporting News reports:

An Army veteran is extremely unhappy with the Braves after he said he was told to remove his American flag during a tailgate at SunTrust Park.

Adam Mourdock said a parking attendant told him to take down his flag on Monday night, CBS 46 in Atlanta reported.

“I fly a flag, an American flag directly above an Atlanta Braves flag at all the home games,” Mourdock said.

The parking attendent at SunTrust Park then told him that flying the flag was against their policy, according to Mourdock. When he asked to speak to a supervisor, she said she was the supervisor.

“There was no explanation, there was no policy in writing other than today that flag needs to come down,” Mourdock said.

“They treat vets with the (utmost) respect. The way they treat people who have served our country is top notch,” Mourdock said about the organization. “To be treated that way by one of their employees is not only offsetting, but it was disappointing.”
