Surprisingly, “IMPEACHMENT” is not a four letter word. And it took Ruth Bader Ginsburg taking shots at Donald Trump to get the main-stream-media to figure that one out. Over the last week the latest Trump discourse came from a Supreme Court Judge. Something very unusual, unheard of. Something else unheard of? The media talking consequence. It’s been a long time since anyone in politics, or the media has even entertained a thought of … accountability.

FOX News had this to say.

“Like ’em or not, Supreme Court justices are appointed for life.

Impeachment by Congress is the only legal avenue that exists for punishing or removing a Supreme Court justice — a historically rare option that’s been tried, but has never succeeded.

The congressional bar for impeachment starts relatively low — that is, the House only needs a simple majority to vote for impeachment proceedings to begin; but the bar is raised fairly high in the Senate, where a two-thirds majority is needed to convict.

The last – and only – time this happened was in 1804, when the House voted to impeach Justice Samuel Chase. He was accused of a range of offenses concerning his conduct on the bench – but the Senate voted to acquit in 1805, and Chase stayed on the bench.”

This is what started the ruckus.

And then, like children tangled up in a pissing contest, Ginsburg fires back, so MSNBC chimes in. It’s pretty well accepted, by the leftist media however, the lefty judge crossed a line.

It’s going to be a fun campaign season, folks. The left is desperate if they are crawling out of the Supreme Court to weigh in on POTUS politics.
