The story of Hillary’s emails, Obama, and the FBI just got much worse. A Republican Rep. from Texas named John Ratcliffe has pointed out that a former lawyer for the FBI said something pretty damning that suggests the Obama DOJ threw cold water on the prosecution of Hillary Clinton.
FOX News reports:
Lisa Page admitted Obama DOJ ordered stand-down on Clinton email prosecution, GOP rep says
Former FBI lawyer Lisa Page admitted under questioning from Texas Republican Rep. John Ratcliffe last summer that “the FBI was ordered by the Obama DOJ not to consider charging Hillary Clinton for gross negligence in the handling of classified information,” the congressman alleged in a social media post late Tuesday, citing a newly unearthed transcript of Page’s closed-door testimony.
Page and since-fired FBI Special Agent Peter Strzok, who were romantically involved, exchanged numerous anti-Trump text messages in the lead-up to the 2016 presidential election, and Republicans have long accused the bureau of political bias. But Page’s testimony was perhaps the most salient evidence yet that the Justice Department improperly interfered with the FBI’s supposedly independent conclusions on Clinton’s criminal culpability, Ratcliffe alleged.
“So let me if I can, I know I’m testing your memory,” Ratcliffe began as he questioned Page under oath, according to a transcript excerpt he posted on Twitter.

This whole thing stinks and has stunk from day one. Do you know who is trying to get an investigation of Obama going? Lindsey Graham.
From Real Clear Politics:
Graham: Need A Special Counsel To Investigate “Potential Crimes” By Department of Justice, FBI
Sen. Lindsey Graham (R-SC) told FNC’s Sean Hannity Wednesday night that the Department of Justice must answer two questions: Did they stop the Clinton investigation because they wanted her to win? Did they start the Russian investigation against Trump as an insurance policy in case he won?
Graham also called for a special counsel to investigate “potential crimes” committed by officials in the Department of Justice, especially the FBI.
SEN. LINDSEY GRAHAM: There’s two questions I think the public deserves an answer to. Did they short-circuit the Clinton e-mail investigation because they wanted her to win? They knew if they charged her she might lose. Did they start the Russian investigation against Trump as an insurance policy in case he did win?
