Melania Trump to relocate to DC next week: report
First lady Melania Trump is expected to officially move to Washington next week, according to a new report.
The first lady plans on joining President Trump at the White House on June 14, Politico reported Wednesday. Their son Barron Trump will be moving to the White House as well.
Politico confirmed Melania Trump’s move with people who are familiar with her planning.
The June 14 date has reportedly emerged as a major marker on the White House’s calendar as it follows the end of Barron Trump’s school year.
Melania Trump’s parents, Amalija and Victor Knavs, are also expected to become more familiar figures in Washington following her move. The Knavs currently live with Melania and Barron Trump in their Trump Tower penthouse in New York City and often help care for Barron.
