Home Depot co-founder Bernie Marcus is not a big fan of Bernie Sanders and socialism.
During an interview with Neil Cavuto of the FOX Business network, Marcus criticized Sanders, calling him and enemy of entrepreneurs.

The co-founders of Home Depot believe if Bernie Sanders were president when they tried to open their business in 1978, the home-improvement retailer may never have existed.
In an exclusive interview with Neil Cavuto, Bernie Marcus and Ken Langone Opens a New Window. explain why.
“Home Depot is the poster child for capitalism,” Marcus said.
The two admittedly said they never thought about giving up on their business, even amid the economic downturn Opens a New Window. in the late 70s when the company was born. Marcus pointed out, “people needed product. People still had to build houses, fix plumbing.”

As Marcus says in the video, he trusts himself more than the government when it comes to giving away his money. And he gives away a lot of it.

Then Atlanta Falcons and Atlanta United team owner Arthur Blank, a fellow co-founder of Home Depot, Georgia’s largest public company by revenue, announced he would kick in another $15 million, in addition to a $5 million earlier pledge.
Among the donors, 23 people and organizations each donated $1 million or more.
As a self-made man, Marcus has every right to be critical of Sanders.
