HOW SAD: Bitter RINO Jeb Bush Wants Another Republican To Challenge Trump In 2020

Jeb Bush is just as bitter as Hillary Clinton. During a recent interview, the former governor said he wants another Republican to challenge Trump for the GOP nomination in 2020.

Politico reports:

Jeb Bush says a Republican should run against Trump in 2020

Jeb Bush said he thinks a fellow Republican should challenge President Donald Trump in 2020, according to a portion of an interview for the series “The Axe Files.”

The excerpt was tweeted by show host David Axelrod, a commentator and ex-adviser to former President Barack Obama. Axelrod’s interview with Bush, who went up against Trump in the 2016 Republican primary, is set to air on CNN at 7 p.m. on Saturday.

“I think someone should run just because Republicans ought to be given a choice,” Bush said. “It’s hard to beat a sitting president, but to have a conversation about what it is to be a conservative, I think it’s important.”

Axelrod wrote in a subsequent tweet that Bush, a former Florida governor, had been “incredibly candid on all fronts,” including on the state of the country and the Republican Party.

This just goes to show how deeply wounded some people from the establishment were by Trump’s 2016 victory.

Jeb is also complaining about Trump’s foreign policy.

The Hill reports:

Jeb Bush: Trump’s ‘unilateralism’ on foreign policy is ‘really dangerous’

Former Florida Gov. Jeb Bush (R) says in a new interview that President Trump’s “unilateralism” on trade issues and other foreign policy is “really dangerous.”

Bush, who challenged Trump for the GOP presidential nomination in 2016 and has said he hopes a Republican primary opponent emerges in 2020, spoke about some of his criticisms of Trump in a podcast interview with CNN’s David Axelrod.

“We haven’t had a major crisis to deal with, but this unilateralism or going-alone-ism I think is really dangerous,” Bush said of Trump’s foreign policy moves during the interview on CNN’s “The Axe Files.”

“Our friends no longer believe they can trust the United States and our enemies, in many cases, feel emboldened by this approach,” he added. “I think it defies the…bipartisan kind of consensus on foreign policy that has by-and-large kept America safe.”

Jeb needs to find a new hobby. Maybe he should take up golf or something.
