Huckabee: Obama and DiCaprio “ELITIST SNOBS” And “BONEHEADED WRONG”

President Obama and Leo DiCaprio got together to discuss climate change. In one of many strange statements, Obama tied climate change to the Syrian war.

Governor Mike Huckabee was asked about this on Varney & Co. Huckabee responded with force.

Huckabee had this to say:

“This is the insanity of these people. The Left – They’re not only smug, they’re elitist snobs, and they’re just plain boneheaded wrong. To say that the Syrian war is the result of the climate? The climate in Syria – I’ve been to Syria, Stu – It’s always been hot there.

And to say that that’s what’s causing people to get their heads cut off? These people shouldn’t be allowed without some clinical attendants standing next to them.”

Here’s what Huckabee was referring to.

As the Gateway Pundit reported:

Via Climate Depot:

PRESIDENT OBAMA: “There’s already some really interesting work — not definitive but powerful — showing that the droughts that happened in Syria contributed to the unrest and the Syrian civil war. Well, if you start magnifying that across a lot of states, a lot of nation states that already contain a lot of poor people who are just right at the margins of survival, this becomes a national security issue. And, that’s why even as we have members of Congress who scoff at climate change at the same time as they are saluting and wearing flag pins and extolling their patriotism they’re not paying attention to our Joints Chief of Staff and the Pentagon who are saying this is one of the most significant national security threats that we face over the next fifty years.”

It’s much easier for Obama to blame the Syrian quagmire on climate change junk science than his failed foreign policy.
