Joe Biden Gets Dragged By Left And Right For Groveling To Saudi Arabia

Joe Biden visited Saudi Arabia this week and no one is particularly happy about it.

People on the right saw it as Biden groveling for oil which we could just create on our own if he would allow it.

People on the left are annoyed because Biden previously criticized the Saudis over the murder of journalist Jamal Khashoggi and other things.

Check out this article from the liberal Insider:

Biden sits side-by-side with MBS less than one month after saying he wouldn’t meet with the Saudi ruler

President Joe Biden sat side-by-side with Saudi Crown Price Mohammed bin Salman less than a month after telling reporters he wasn’t going to meet with the man known as MBS, who is implicated in journalist Jamal Khashoggi’s murder.

Photos of Friday’s meeting at Al Salam Royal Palace, which began with the two men sharing a fist bump, are being promoted by the official news agency of Saudi Arabia and show Biden sitting alongside a smiling MBS at the head of the room.

“I’m not going to meet with MBS,” Biden told reporters last month. “I’m going to an international meeting, and he’s going to be part of it.”

Biden says Saudis will help lower gas prices — after denying he’d beg for more oil

President Biden told reporters in Saudi Arabia Friday that gas prices are likely to come down in ‘the next couple of weeks” after he discussed oil production with killer crown prince Mohammed bin Salman — despite claiming 15 days ago that the issue had nothing to do with his visit.

Biden mentioned energy prominently while describing a private meeting with bin Salman — as high pump prices and the worst inflation in 41 years have sent the president’s approval rating as low as 33%…

Despite Friday’s happy talk, Biden previously said that he would not ask Saudi Arabia to produce more oil as he mended relations with MBS after previously attempting to sideline the de facto Saudi ruler over the 2018 murder of Washington Post columnist Jamal Khashoggi.

Even pencil-neck Adam Schiff was unhappy about it.

The optics are terrible.

Biden is going to be a historic president, but not for reasons he would like.
