Joe Biden gave his first national address on Thursday night and he opened it with lies. It took Biden only about ten seconds to start lying about Trump’s response to the COVID pandemic last year.
While Trump was following the advice of top scientists, closing down air travel from China and taking other precautions last year, Joe Biden was sitting on the sidelines calling Trump a xenophobe.
Now Biden claims Trump was in denial about what was happening for weeks and months.
Joe Biden is a lying dirtbag.

Biden begins his speech by attacking the Trump administration with lies: "A year ago, we were hit with a virus that was met with silence and spread unchecked. Denials for days, weeks, then months. That led to more deaths, more infections, more stress, and more loneliness." pic.twitter.com/j6e1NeWdnO

Biden Gives the False Impression That It Took ‘Months’ Under Trump to Vaccinate 8% of Over-65s
As he took credit for progress in combating the coronavirus pandemic, President Biden on Thursday night compared the number of vaccinations delivered before he took office and those delivered since, saying that when he became president only eight percent of Americans over 65 – “after months” – had received their first shot.
“When I took office 50 days ago, only eight percent of Americans – after months – only eight percent of those over the age of 65 had gotten their first vaccination,” Biden said in his first prime time speech. “Today that number is 65 percent.”
Biden’s “today” figure of 65 percent was close to being accurate. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention data show that as of March 11, 62.4 percent of over 65s have received at least one vaccine dose. (When the White House press office later on Thursday night released a transcript of the speech, it inserted [nearly] in front of the number 65.)
Biden also said that if Americans behave, we might be able to gather in small groups by the Fourth of July.
BIDEN: "If we do our part… by July 4, there's a good chance you, your families, and friends will be able to get together in your backyard or in your neighborhood and have a cookout or a barbecue and celebrate Independence Day… Small groups will be able to get together" pic.twitter.com/j6PQwbN4qg
