President Donald Trump’s top advisers and team of national security experts know exactly what they’re doing when it comes to this refugee resettlement freeze.
Perhaps the man that knows the most is Stephen Miller. Just check out what he says during a segment on Fox News.
“The immigration orders were drafted by a team of some of the most qualified, talented lawyers in the USA,” Miller said on Monday’s edition of Tucker Carlson Tonight on the FOX News Channel. “I am proud to have the opportunity tonight to stand up for President Trump’s order and to defend the action as lawful, necessary and important.”
Miller said the decision to fire acting Attorney General Sally Yates further shows Trump’s cabinet nominees need to be confirmed, namely U.S. Attorney General designate Jeff Sessions.
“It was a betrayal of her office and [Sally Yates] is being replaced with somebody who will enforce the laws of the U.S,” Miller announced.
Wow! Finally some common sense on the immigration issue!
