President Donald Trump says Former President Barack Obama hasn’t contacted him since the Inauguration.
It’s been a while since Barack Obama reached out to congratulate Donald Trump on his victory. It seemed like Obama was willing to help Trump transition into the White House, but we now know President Trump and Barack Obama don’t keep in contact.
The Washington Times reports:
Former President Barack Obama and President Trump have not spoken once since the inauguration in January, Mr. Trump confirmed to The Washington Times, adding it’s “too bad” they haven’t been in communication, but he is not surprised given their history.
Mr. Trump also brushed aside Mr. Obama’s recent public attacks on him, acknowledging his own barbs aimed at the man whose legacy he upended with his stunning election victory in November. “I wouldn’t say I’ve been exactly great to him, either,” Mr. Trump said by way of explanation.
In an interview from the Oval Office, Mr. Trump described how he has distanced himself from his Democratic predecessor’s approach to dealing with foreign leaders, ditching the occasionally chiding tone Mr. Obama took in favor of a more pragmatic dealmaker’s stance.
Typically former presidents give advice to current presidents. Not in this case and that isn’t a bad thing!
The people who voted for President Trump were fed up with the way things were going under the former president. Having them communicate with each other only means that Obama is still having some impact on the nation’s policies. Those who wanted Trump in wanted everything Obama had to offer out.

One thing in particular probably has the former president a bit upset. That is the Trump administration’s efforts to repeal and replace the Affordable Care Act. It’s the signature law from the Obama era. In fact it’s so connected to the former president, we even call it “Obamacare.”
You can’t compare anything to ObamaCare because ObamaCare is dead. Dems want billions to go to Insurance Companies to bail out donors….New
