So apparently it isn’t a good idea to disrupt a Senate confirmation hearing. Who knew right?
A group of social justice warriors are now facing time behind bars for their little display during Attorney General Jeff Sessions’ confirmation hearing.
The Hill reports:
A jury convicted three Code Pink activists on Wednesday for disrupting Attorney General Jeff Sessions’s confirmation hearing earlier this year, including one who apparently laughed during the hearing.
Desiree Fairooz, who dressed up as a pink version of Lady Liberty, was found guilty on charges of parading or demonstrating on Capitol grounds and disorderly conduct, The New York Times reported.
Two other Code Pink activists, Tighe Barry and Lenny Bianchi, were reportedly acquitted on a count of disorderly conduct but were convicted on two separate charges of parading or demonstrating during the hearing.
Hopefully it was worth it to them, because they may spend up to a year in prison for it.

Repressing the truth? There is a video that shows one of them yelling (not “laughing”) in the middle of the confirmation hearing. Â She struggled with law enforcement and says Sessions is “evil.” Â The truth behind this is simple. Â That grown woman was acting like a baby.
There is a way you are expected to act when you attend government meetings like this one. Â Disobeying those rules are a quick way to get in a good deal of trouble.
Well they got their moment of fame and now they have got to suffer the consequences.
