The nation has been gripped by the Kavanaugh hearings. They have been unlike anything anyone has ever seen and mostly not in a good way. It has been extremely good for FOX News, however. Their ratings have been astronomical.

MORE THAN 5 MILLION PEOPLE WATCHED THE KAVANAUGH HEARING ON FOX NEWS
More than 5 million people tuned into Fox News on Thursday to watch the Senate Judiciary Committee’s hearing with Dr. Christine Blasey Ford and Supreme Court nominee Brett Kavanaugh.
According to Nielsen Media numbers, Fox averaged 5,691,000 viewers from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. with coverage of the hearing led by Bret Baier, Martha MacCallum and Chris Wallace.
The staggering ratings continued into the primetime shows, where “Tucker Carlson Tonight” garnered 5,283,000 viewers, “Hannity” earned 5,857,000, and “The Ingraham Angle” snagged 5,369,000.
Fox News managed to beat both MSNBC and CNN combined, with MSNBC averaging 2,892,000 viewers from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. and CNN averaging 2,515,000.

Fox News was the leading TV source for the dramatic daylong Senate testimony of Supreme Court nominee Brett Kavanaugh and his sexual assault accuser, Palo Alto professor Christine Blasey Ford, that transfixed the nation Thursday.
Fox News coverage of the Senate Judiciary Committee hearing was watched by an average of 5.7 million viewers from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. Eastern time, more than MSNBC (2.9 million) and CNN (2.5 million) combined, according to Nielsen data.
