Mark Steyn On Obama’s New Book: Remember His “Composite Girlfriend” In The Last One? (VIDEO)

Obama just reached a multi-million dollar deal for a new book from him and another from former First Lady Michelle Obama. It’s rumored to be worth over $60 million, in fact.

The New York Post reported:

Penguin Random House crowned winner of $60M Obama book war

The bidding war over Barack and Michelle Obama’s book deal skyrocketed to more than $60 million before Penguin Random House was crowned the winner on Tuesday night.

The publisher announced that the pair had signed with them after reportedly delivering the highest bid earlier in the day.

“We are very much looking forward to working together with President and Mrs. Obama to make each of their books global publishing events of unprecedented scope and significance,” Penguin Random House CEO Markus Dohle said in a statement.

“With their words and their leadership, they changed the world, and every day, with the books we publish at Penguin Random House, we strive to do the same.”

Conservative author and commentator Mark Steyn reacted to this news on the Stewart Varney show and it was hilarious. In the clip below, Steyn says:

“I liked Obama’s previous book because it was one of the great works of fiction, you know with his composite girlfriend and his imaginary racist white friend. And I remember he wrote about his grandfather in Indonesia who supposedly died in the colonial struggle against the Dutch but actually died falling off a chair while changing the drapes.”

Stuart Varney laughs through the whole thing. Watch:

Stuart should have him on more often!
