Ann Coulter Drops Out Of Berkeley’s Free Speech Week

Things aren’t looking so good for the much anticipated Free Speech Week at Berkeley. There has been much speculation that the administration had it in for the event and was doing everything, passively aggressively possible, to run it off the rails. Now Ann Coulter has removed herself from the lineup.

Independent Journal Review has the story:

Coulter, who was scheduled to appear and speak at the event, told the Associated Press on Friday that she’s out that and the administration was “dead set on blocking” it.

“I also don’t think Berkeley deserves to hear a brilliant and entertaining Ann Coulter speech,” Coulter said.

The four-day event, which is also said to have former White House adviser Steven Bannon, is beginning to appear less likely to actually take place.

Organizers themselves have reportedly said the event has been canceled; however, Yiannopoulos’ camp has yet to confirm.

And according to reports, Yiannopoulos is set to hold a press conference on Saturday to officially announce that “Free Speech Week” is off — likely blaming it on a “forced cancellation.”

Watch out U.C. Berkeley. There are universities all over the country experiencing an enrollment drop off due to forced liberal culture. If it happened in Missouri, it could happen to you.
