TV host Steve Harvey met with Trump because he wants to help the black community. What’s wrong with that? And why are some black liberals angry at Harvey for doing it?
It’s being reported with a negative tone in many media outlets. Here’s one from TheSource:
STEVE HARVEY MEETS WITH PRESIDENT-ELECT TRUMP, RECEIVES TREMENDOUS BACKLASH FROM BLACK COMMUNITY
Yo, Uncle Snoop does this count?
As a supposed means of gaining support from as well as rectifying problems within the Black community, the Trump administration put together a meeting between President-elect Donald Trump and comedian/TV host Steve Harvey yesterday at Trump Towers in NYC, which received more than its share of oposition from the urban community.
Here’s video from the post meeting interviews.
HARVEY: It’s just me following orders from my friend, President Obama, who said, “Steve, you gotta get out from behind your computers. Stop tweeting and texting and get out there and sit down and talk, so I stepped out from behind my microphone and I came and talked to the guy that’s gonna be the 45th president of the United States. I did what I was supposed to do.

Trending: Democrats To Try Out New Midterm Strategy – Ignoring Trump
HUGHLEY: It amazes me that to convince black people that Donald Trump cares about them, he takes pictures with celebrities. If Donald Trump cared about black people he wouldn’t have denigrated the president with those claims of birtherism. He wouldn’t have stoked fears and racist fears of saying this man is less than, is not one of us to become president. … You’d rather have black people be comedians, rappers and football players than be president. …
Just. So. Angry.
