COSMO FAIL: Falsely Identifies Sikh Cabbie As Muslim After Manchester Bombing

Is this liberal media social engineering, trying to paint a happy face on radical Muslim terror, or just plain stupidity? You be the judge.

The Daily Caller has the story:

In an effort to spread multicultural awareness, the women’s mag posted a picture of what is supposed to be a Muslim cabbie who drove kids escaping the Ariana Grande concert home for free. Which would’ve been a great story.

But the guy isn’t Muslim at all.

He’s Sikh.

In a now-deleted tweet, Cosmo posted a photo of a Sikh man and wrote, “Muslim Taxi Drivers Took Kids Trying to Escape the Manchester Ariana Grande Concert Home for Free.”

And they claim that Cosmo was aware of the discrepancy when they posted the tweet. Hmmm.

The problem is, however, the man in the photo is Sikh — which Cosmo’s editors were apparently aware of when they published their tweet.

So, maybe not just stupidity, and more like social engineering?
