Given the history of Trump administration shakeups, it’s very possible that Tillerson is on his way out and it’s also possible that John Bolton will soon be the next Secretary of State.
The Political Insider reports:
The media treats White House reporting like a middle school drama, with NBC News reporting last week that Secretary of State Rex Tillerson referred to President Trump as a “moron.” Tillerson held a brief press conference to deny the allegations. It seemed odd that a press conference would be needed for something so petty, but perhaps Tillerson gave it to squash the narrative of a conflict between the State Department and Trump.
… Regardless of the truth of that particular comment, if it really was just a rumor, perhaps it was one that grew out of escalating tensions between Trump and Tillerson.
And if Trump is really thinking about canning Tillerson, who will his replacement be at Foggy Bottom? If you
tune into Fox News, it’ll likely be a familiar face: former ambassador to the United Nations John Bolton.
Bolton was seen entering the White House yesterday as Trump was having lunch with Tillerson.
John Bolton spotted going into the West Wing a few minutes ago. He had complained recently his access to talking to WH had been cut off

Wouldn’t you want this kind of common sense in the State Department?

John Bolton has had the respect of conservatives for a long time. He’d be great in the State Department.
