Elton John To Perform At The Trump Inauguration

See bottom of post for update.

Liberals have accused Trump of being a danger to gay Americans. That’s unfair because Trump was the first Republican to ever address LGBT issues at the Republican convention. He also has said that he wants to protect gay people from radical Islam.

No we learn the gay musician Elton John is going to perform at his inauguration.

The New York Post reported:

Elton John will perform at Donald Trump’s inauguration, claimed a key adviser, who championed the billionaire as the first president ever to enter the White House with a “pro-gay rights” stance.

“Elton John is going to be doing our concert on the mall for inauguration,” Anthony Scaramucci, a member of the presidential transition team executive committee as well as a vice chair of the presidential inaugural committee, told BBC’s “HARDtalk.”

No, Elton John Will Not Perform at the Trump Inauguration

Elton John will not perform at Donald J. Trump’s inauguration in January, contrary to a report from a member of Mr. Trump’s transition team, a publicist for the singer said on Wednesday.

Anthony Scaramucci, the member of the presidential transition team, made the claim during an interview on the BBC program “HARDtalk” this week. But Fran Curtis, the publicist for the British singer, issued a strong denial by email:

“Incorrect. He will NOT be performing.”
