Let us not forget that Melania is married to the President. And she buys her own clothes. Taxpayers are not funding her wardrobe. That might be an important point for the left to remember when they are trying to discredit the First Lady.
But the left must have something to complain about, right? They’re not holding down “real” jobs.
So, here’s the latest irrational, and irrelevant rant from the left.
The Daily Mail posted a piece on the ladies of the summit and their fashion. Melania wore a beautiful Dolce & Gabanna floral jacket, priced at $51,000:
Yesterday, she put the NATO spouses and royalty in the shade with two elegant outfits on a visit to Brussels.
And today Melania Trump, 47, pulled off another style triumph as she joined her fellow G7 spouses in Catania, Italy, in a $51,000 floral coat by Dolce & Gabanna, which was covered with colorful 3-D flower embellishments – and came complete with a matching $1,630 purse by the Italian luxury label.
And then the left got word, and this happened on the twitterverse.

My point is she's wearing a jacket that's about the cost of the average American family income.

However the “right” are not without witty retort.
Remember when Hillary wore the Kirby vacuum inspired jacket that cost $12,500? #Shattered

Melania Trump visits Sicily, wears $51,500 designer jacket – who cares? We know she can afford it. Not tax payer $https://t.co/NKHKtNfOWU
