Investigation Of Clinton Foundation Continues As Trump Calls In Foreign Reinforcements

Investigation Into Clinton Foundation Isn't Over As Trump Calls In Foreign Reinforcements

After the election, some people winced when Trump seemingly backed off his promise to go after Hillary and the Clinton Foundation.

You may remember how Trump took a lot of heat for encouraging Putin to go after ISIS. What made sense to a lot of Americans, to have other countries share the burden of stamping out evil in the world, drew a lot of nasty attacks from the liberal left.

Now Trump has taken that philosophy a step farther and applied it to investigating the Clinton Foundation. Trump is going to let foreign countries set the Clintons ablaze. Brilliant. He had a plan after all.

MRC Blog reported:

Hillary Clinton thought she was in the clear last week when Donald Trump’s team suggested that the president-elect will not be appointing a special prosecutor to investigate her. Now, however, Clinton has learned she’s not out of the woods after all.

The New York Post reported that Trump is planning to encourage foreign governments to investigate the finances of the Clinton Foundation. This came days after many major Western foreign capitals announced that they are reducing their contributions to the Clinton Foundation, or investigating the charity’s money trail in their countries.

Australia and Norway are cutting ties or severely cutting back on support directed at the Foundation, too. Each had previously padded Clinton coffers with $25 million dollars. That’s going to hurt the Clinton bottom line.
