This could be the biggest travesty of justice in our lifetime, and we could be forced to see it on TV as a reality show.
FOX 31 Denver reported that OJ Simpson is eligible for parole, after serving a portion of his 9 to 33 year sentence for kidnapping, armed robbery and assault of memorabilia dealers in a Las Vegas hotel room:
This summer, Nevada prison inmate No. 1027820 will have his first chance at freedom. It comes at a time when Simpson has vaulted back into the limelight with the documentary “O.J.: Made in America,” which captured the Academy Award for best documentary.
… With a minimum sentence of nine years, this is the first year Simpson could be released. But he was granted parole on some of the counts against him at a 2013 hearing.
This summer, he will only have to make parole on seven of the original 12 counts. Prosecutors declined to comment on the likelihood of Simpson being paroled.
Independent Journal Review reports:
While O.J. awaits his possible parole, he isn’t the only one gearing up for his release.
According to reports, TV production companies are scrambling in a fight to start a reality series based on O.J’s release.
That said, there’s some major concern from many TV production companies about featuring The Juice in a show.
… That said, they may make the docuseries available for pay-per-view so that no one will be judged for creating it.
The idea behind his reality show is likely based on the fact that FX came out with a hit show titled “The People Vs. O.J” last year:
Truth is stranger than fiction.
