While activists are calling to take down national monuments, should a statue of Bill Clinton go?
Juanita Broaddrick and Paula Jones think so.
Political Insider has the details.
“While everyone on the left is wandering the country, searching for some random statue to be mad at and tear down, there have been new calls for one honoring Democrat hero Bill Clinton to be removed.
Juanita Broaddrick, a former nursing home employee, accused Clinton of raping her decades earlier when he was a gubernatorial candidate in Arkansas.
If we’re ridding the nation of statues that honor racists, she believes we ought to get rid of statues honoring rapists.
A statue to the serial sex addict sits on a block in Rapid City, South Dakota, along with all of the other presidents throughout the city.”
Broaddrick said this:
I was 35 years old when Bill Clinton, Ark. Attorney General raped me and Hillary tried to silence me. I am now 73….it never goes away.

And from the Paula Jones Facebook page:
“President Donald Trump recently criticized those who are calling for the removal of statues memorializing Confederate figures such as Robert E. Lee and Stonewall Jackson. Trump suggested that if people remove monuments to these men, George Washington and Thomas Jefferson could be next. Well, Trump may have been off by a couple hundred years, but another U.S. president’s statue has been called for removal: Bill Clinton.
Juanita Broaddrick said in an interview with The American Mirror that she wants to see the destruction of a Clinton statue located in Rapid City, South Dakota. Broaddrick famously alleges that Clinton raped her in 1978.
“I would like to ‘personally’ use a sledgehammer on it, with the help of Kathleen Willey and Paula Jones,” she said. Willey and Jones, of course, are two other women who have accused President Clinton of sexual misconduct.”
