Get ready for the latest round of liberal whining and crying. For weeks, leftist talking heads have gleefully reported low approval ratings for the President. It looks like those days are over.
President Donald Trump’s approval ratings have improved to 50 percent according to a new Rasmussen poll.
This is the first time the president’s overall approval rating has been back in the 50s in nearly a month. Just after his inauguration, Trump’s job approval peaked at 59% and remained in the 50s every day until early March. It’s gone as low as 42% since then.
Gee, with all the nasty the libs can throw, the reports of infighting and bomb dropping, Trump still has the approval of the public.
The Washington Examiner says reports of Trump’s base fleeing is #Fake News.
… Other state polls find that Trump’s supporters remain firmly behind him, calling into question reports that his base is giving up on him.
In South Carolina, for example, the latest Winthrop Poll said that “Trump’s approval rating of 43 percent has remained steady in South Carolina for the past two months.” It added, “His approval numbers in South Carolina continue to be a few points higher than his national average.”
And even in Democratic Massachusetts, Trump’s base has stuck with him. The latest WBUR survey said that those who backed the president in the state won handily by Democrat Hillary Rodham Clinton remain “strong” for the president.
And Rasmussen has this.
The Rasmussen Reports daily Presidential Tracking Poll for Monday shows that 50% of Likely U.S. Voters approve of President Trump’s job performance. Fifty percent (50%) disapprove.
As we saw during the campaign, polling was intentionally skewed to reflect the desires of the left. Could it be a stretch to think that Trump is actually doing better than 50%?
