It’s amazing how smoothly, efficiently and economically government can run when you’re not a Washington insider trying to bilk the taxpayers, and the system.
Donald Trump isn’t even sworn in and he’s already creating an uptick in the economy and trimming government spending.
The New York Post reported this statement from Mike Pence.
Vice President-elect Mike Pence heralded inauguration eve as “a momentous day before a historic day” in a surprise appearance at a press briefing Thursday.
“Wrapping up this transition on schedule and under budget,” Pence bragged, claiming the transition team would return 20 percent of the taxpayer-funded budget to the federal government.
Pence claimed the transition had made great strides — and would be ready on “day one” to govern. He also noted that all cabinet officials have been named by President-elect Donald Trump to their positions.
ABC News added this:
He thanked supporters and members of the transition team for getting as many people as they could in place for jobs before the inauguration.
“We focused … on a Day One, a Day 100 and a Day 200 action plan” in an effort to put “the president-elect’s promises into action,” Pence said.
What a great preview of things to come! America will truly be great again.
