It’s official! Kim Jong Un is nuts. After all the warnings he’s had, yet another ballistic missile has been test fired just north of Pyongyang.
He’s obviously not worried about retaliation. Most likely he’ll learn the hard way, just like Syria did.
Zero Hedge has the story:
The missile was reportedly fired from an area just north of Pyongyang and landed in the Sea of Japan. South Korean military is currently analyzing the missile type and flight distance. Yonhap aditionally reports that the launch of one ballistic missile appears to have failed.
U.S. Pacific Command on reported North Korean missile test: “We’re aware of the event.”
This comes just hours after U.S. Secretary of State Rex Tillerson warned on Friday that failure to curb North Korea’s nuclear and missile development could lead to ‘catastrophic consequences,’ while China and Russia cautioned Washington against threatening military force.

In an interview with Reuters published late Thursday, President Donald Trump said “major, major” conflict with North Korea is possible, but that he would prefer a diplomatic solution.
Trump also told Reuters that he wants South Korea to pay for the $1 billion missile defense system. The system, the Terminal High Altitude Area Defense (THAAD), is designed to protect South Korea and Japan from missile attack, and it could be operational as soon as summer 2017.

Obviously, while this test was another failure for North Korea, this is a developing story.
