Poor Megyn. She just can’t get a break. Her debut at NBC is less than blockbuster. Her interview with Putin didn’t exactly launch her back into the spotlight. And now, she’s being snubbed by the people of Sandy Hook for giving Alex Jones a platform on her new show.
The Blaze has the story:
Kelly, a former Fox News anchor, recently shared a preview of her upcoming interview with the InfoWars host on Twitter. The interview is scheduled to air Sunday. In the preview, Kelly pressed Jones on his claim:
After the preview of the interview became available, Sandy Hook Promise, a group that works to prevent gun violence, said in a news release that it has decided to disinvite Kelly as host of the upcoming Promise Champions Gala.
“Sandy Hook Promise cannot support the decision by Megyn or NBC to give any form of voice or platform to Alex Jones and have asked Megyn Kelly to step down as our Promise Champion Gala host,” Nicole Hockley, co-founder and managing director of Sandy Hook Promise, said in a statement. “It is our hope that Megyn and NBC reconsider and not broadcast this interview.”
Here’s the video:
KELLY: They call you the most paranoid man in America. Is that true?
JONES: Absolutely not. A paranoid person would be hiding out in their house, not venturing out in public. I go out here, on the street, battle Black Lives Matter, communists, point blank range.

Sandy Hook’s complex because I’ve had debate where devil’s advocates would say the whole story is true, and I’ve had debates where I’ve said none of it’s true.
Megyn weighed in on Twitter:

And so it goes. The media continues to eat its own.
